iTunes 10.2.2 Update Fixes iPad Syncing Snafu

iTunes has been updated to version ten.2.2 & includes a few minor bug fixes, of which is an issue where iTunes may become unresponsive when syncing an iPad. It would not have been so bad except that Apple insists on maintaining tight integration between its mobile products & iTunes application.
Version ten.2.2 also addresses a few other quirks, including:

Resolves an issue which may cause synching images with iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to take longer than necessary

Fixes a controversy where video previews on the iTunes Store may skip while playing
Addresses other issues that improve stability & performance

In short, the update is intended to make iTunes suck a small bit less (our words, not Apple's). In addition, the ten.2.2 update addresses memory corruption issues in the WebKit framework for Windows users that could enable a man-in-the-middle assault to occur while browsing the iTunes Store by iTunes on a PC.
